b'RIVER CITY BRASS RETURNS TO GREATER LATROBERiver City Brass, Americas favorite brass band, returned to the Greater Latrobe Senior High auditorium and performed for over 480 attendees on Friday, December 16th.The River City Brass performed alongside 170 Greater Latrobe band and chorus students.This exciting evening of music was sponsored by the Greater Latrobe Partners in Education Foundation and raised over $18,000 for the Music Department of the Greater Latrobe School District.The evenings music program was coordinated by senior high band director Ryan Czejak and senior high choir director Olivia Blackmore.Members of the organizing committee are Maria Graziano Bickerstaff; chair, Kelly Bisignani, Olivia Blackmore, Jason Brinker, Ryan Czekaj, Michael Long and Dottie Staffen.The GLPIEF plans to host a Home for the Holidays concert featuring the River City Brass and the students in the Greater Latrobe Music Department in December 2024.Recognizing the Class of 1973 and the 2023 Alumni of Distinction Honorees Barry & Linda Banker, Class of 1966.The Greater Latrobe Choirs and River City Brass performing at the Home for the Holidays concert.The Greater Latrobe Bands and River City Brass performing at the Home for the Holidays concert.GLPIEF BOARD OF DIRECTORS Maria Graziano-Bickerstaff, 11 Jason J.
